You can make a request for an Extension compliance calculation by describing the dwelling extension on this form and clicking the submit button. The cost of the calculation is from £100.00 per dwelling extension. You will be invoiced for this amount and the calculation will be sent on receipt of payment.
This calculation deals just with the extension and will check that the total rate of heat loss is not more than it would be if all elements of the extension had the values given in Table 1.
It will also check the area of openings taking into account any pre-existing openings which will not longer be exposed.
The calculation can be done using SAPPER 6.00 (SAP2001) or Sapper 7.0x (SAP2005).
You can go off-line to complete the details.

It may be necessary for more detailed information to be requested. If it is necessary to do a whole-dwelling calculation to compare the proposed with existing with a nominal extension,this will require two SAP ratings. Please ask for quotation.
