SAP training with BRE. On Construction Domestic Energy Assessors

Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) are now required for all new dwellings, and in England and Wales and Northern Ireland it is necessary to be a trained member of a government approved accreditation scheme to produce a legal EPC and have it lodged on the national register by Landmark.

RUSFA is partnering with BRE training to offer the best training for On Construction Domestic Energy Assessors - using Sapper software, leading to accreditation with BRE Global Accreditation Scheme for Energy Assessors.

Routes to qualification
There are two routes to qualification for accreditation:

  • Approved Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) route. For experienced professionals already familiar with SAP.
    The APEL route is for those who have either formal qualifications in the building and construction industries, or have significant experience working in the field. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have the required knowledge, understanding and experience to meet the required standards for Accreditation.
